Prelude: Not a fan fiction.

This is not a fan fiction. Fiction would defeat the purpose of this. This is a true story told through the parallels of the story of Bayonetta.

In my world there are a trinity of realities. Paradiso, Inferno, and the human world. Melding  the three is Purgatorio.

The overseers of the world are the Lumen Sages and the Umbra Witches. The Lumen sages are the controllers of light. And the Umbra witches, gatekeepers of the darkness.

Jubileus, the Creator, held the eyes of the world. The right eye the Lumen Sage represented as the Sun  and the left eye the Umbra witch represented  as the Moon.

These Clans work together to regulate the balance between light and dark.

Until...

A Lumen sage and an Umbra which, one of the light and one of the dark, conceived a child.

I was that child...

Due to my birth the Clans went to war. And the clash between the Light and the Darkness tip the balance in the world. Causing chaos in the trinity of realities.

Paradiso, Inferno, human world, Who could tell the difference? Even worse with Purgatorio in the middle. Spend enough time in there and you'll really lose sight.

My mother (Rosa) and my father (Balder) were banished. And I was forbidden from the dark arts. Raised as a black sheep, even amongst the darkness.

As the Clans were eliminated I was locked away and put to sleep.  Until reawakened by my father 500 years later.

My memory was severely weakened by 500 years of slumber. So there set forth my journey to enlightenment. My awakening to my true potential.

As the Left Eye.

Angels are Ugly

I've got a fever and the only cure is more dead angels. Is that because they make me sick? I'm starting to remember why I hunt their kind. They're much too ugly not to put them out of their misery. Always barking orders yapping on about something or other. My Inferno friends love making a meal of them though. But, I suppose they aren't any better. Because of my deal with the Devil, if I don't fight angels I lose vitality and risk spending an eternity in Inferno. It's immortality for me or I'm doomed!

Inner-child Work

Dear Cereza, Your smile is warmer than the sun. When I look at you I see my innocence in your eyes. Because of you I found my true strength. When you love something never lose it. Understand, little one? You must keep it safe, close to your heart. There's no need to be afraid anymore, little one. The nightmare is over. Everything was only a dream. You are a very strong little girl. There is nothing you can't overcome.

Balder: my friend, my foe, my father

Balder, my father, the last remaining of the Lumen Sages.  As possessor of the right eye he is an overseer of the world and its history.  Lumen sages are representatives of the Sun and bearers of the light. However, my father also dwelled into the darkness. He believed in order to truly see, one's  eyes must be open to both the dark and the light.  Upon word of my waking, my father set out stepping stones to my enlightenment, the awakening of the left eye. And my journey led me right to him.  It had been five hundred years since we last met and there was much I had forgotten. I suppose if my memories were intact it would have been a much more emotional reconciliation.  Of course he greeted me with riddles and philosophical pretensions. He insisted that I addressed him as "Daddy". It would be several battles before I'd warm up to that idea.  His intentions with me were to resurrect Jubileus, the Creator, and become the new eyes of the world
